My experience
I am a counsellor/ psychotherapist with individuals, couples, families (with teens including those with adopted teenagers) and I work with groups. I have 10 years’ experience of working with a very broad range of unique people in my private practice and I have also worked with:
• A group of Men who identified as suffering with depression in an ecotherapy group in 2018
• Survivors of torture at The Refugee Therapy Centre in London
• People with various mental health diagnoses at Islington MIND, London and in private practice
• Survivors of childhood sexual, physical and psychological abuse in various settings including in private practice
• Many individuals at Highbury Counselling Centre, north London
• 16 to 25 year olds at OffCentre in East London
• People in suicidal crisis at The Maytree, sanctuary for the suicidal in London
I charge £55 per full hour
I am accredited with the BACP.
What I offer
The counselling/ psychotherapy I offer respects you as the expert on your own life.
I work hard to earn your trust by listening very carefully to you and by being open and honest with you.
I work with individuals, couples, families, young people and groups and I am currently training as a clinical supervisor.
Where
I offer private practice sessions in Hexham and I also offer outdoor counselling either in the woods by the fire or ‘walk and talk’.
Outdoor sessions may take more than the usual hour.
